Senior Registered Architect
Local engineering firm seeks consulting architect with in-depth experience in all architectural design aspects. Professional architect will be responsible for entire project cycle including design, development, and project completion, and possess the ability to sign and seal all architectural drawings.
This position requires minimum of B.S. in Architecture, Florida Registered Architect, and 10 or more years of architectural project management coordination of engineering disciplines, project supervision and construction administration. Candidate must have excellent communication and organization skills resulting in a clear vision of how to identify and serve the needs of the client; including direct client contact and the ability to oversee the preparation and coordination of high quality design submittals. Computer skills include proficiency in AutoCAD, BIM and Microsoft Office Suite. In addition, a valid Florida Driver’s License is required and must be maintained throughout employment. The successful candidate will be able to adjust work schedules, occasionally working evenings or weekends as required to meet client deadlines.
Skilled ME to prepare and approve mechanical designs for a variety of projects including but not limited to HVAC, controls, plumbing, and fire protection. Ability to assume project management in single discipline designs, oversee other engineers' work occasionally, perform construction administration duties, including submittals, and prepare basic mechanical designs, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates. Position requires a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and 10 or more years of project experience. PE (Professional Engineer) preferred. May underfill.
