What Our Clients Say About Us:

Congratulations. Your (Anthony Kwan and Michael Tootle) entry, Multimedia Compliance Guide for FLETC, to the Florida Technical Communications Competition has received the EXCELLENCE AWARD. Your entry was judged strictly against STC criteria rather than against other competition entries.- Lore Eargle, Manager, Florida Technical Communication Competition

Your representatives, Mr. Anthony J. Kwan and Team, continue to give us the best service possible. In the last two weeks they have provided the Center with two audits and worked very well with the Center Staff. Their technical knowledge, familiarity with subject matter and ability to provide a superior quality project are outstanding. Their labor has resulted in customer support that is rarely seen…Their attention to detail and technical know-how have resulted in deliverables that are consistently of high quality. - William Colsen, Chief Safety and Environmental Manager, FLETC

I wanted to thank you for your personal involvement on this extensive assessment. I don’t believe it is possible to have a project such as this go any smoother. I look forward to working with you on other projects in the future. - Alan T. Hunter, Environmental Engineering Associate, Facilities Management Office, Office of the Adjutant General, South Carolina National Guard

Environmental Compliance Assessment System (ECAS), Quality Assurance On-site Assessment of Contractor, by U.S. Army Environmental Hygiene Agency (USAEHA): “I found that the Team Leader (Anthony J. Kwan) was well versed with the purpose of the ECAS and with the protocol as assigned to members of the Team. It is very important to have a knowledgeable and competent Team Leader who can avoid potential problems during such an assessment. - Mr. Wayne Hardcastle, Environmental Scientist, USAEHA

Savannah District Gold Star Award
A continuing problem in the ECAS program has been the long turnaround time for finalizing the reports. Using the Ft. Gordon as a test case, the District ECAS Team not only conducted the assessment, but also by obtaining MAJCOM, installation and contractor commitment, developed the initial draft of the ECAR on-site, reducing review time by 45 to 90 days. The Ft. Gordon effort was highly successful due in large part to a team effort and a “will do” attitude of all the players, and is being promoted as a model by the Army Environmental Center. - Nomination Package, USACOE Savannah District

Dear Mr. Kwan, thank you for your efforts regarding the Ft. Bragg Emergency Planning Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) report. Ft Bragg’s various military and civilian organizations unanimously appreciate the professional attitude exhibited by the team members during the study. We received a call from the Atlanta Environmental Protection Agency office, Mr. Steed who was very impressed with the quality and quantity of information presented in the report. - James R. Hougnon, Colonel, Director of Public Works and Environmental

This memo is to recognize your contractor (Anthony J. Kwan) for excellent performance in preparing the Pollution Prevention Plan for Fts. McPherson and Gillem, GA. The Plans are easily comprehensible and complete. Our P2 Program has just been reviewed by the Army Audit Agency (AAA). The plans contain the proper level of detail as sought by the AAA. The AAA was impressed by the thoroughness of the report. - David A. Heins, Chief of Environmental Division, Directorate of Public Works

I am writing to express my approval of the performance of the audit team during a recent environmental audit conducted for the DLA. This project was the assessment of a private firm providing scrapping services to the DLA. The audit required the audit team to interview contractor management and employees, state regulators and government personnel, under tense and difficult circumstances. The audit team (Anthony J. Kwan) approached this situation with tact and discretion. This level of diplomacy, combined with superior technical skills, brought the audit to a successful conclusion. Please extend our appreciation for a job well done. - Jan B. Reitman, Staff Director, Environmental and Safety Policy

This letter is to express our appreciation for the contributions provided by the following team members: Anthony J. Please convey our appreciation and thanks for a job well done. - Joseph L. Lofton, Director of Programs and Project Management, Huntsville Center USACOE

A-E Performance Evaluation – ACASS Database
Mr. Kwan is a very proactive Project Manager and team leader. He is very responsive to the customer’s needs and requirements. The contractor performed well with regards to meeting schedule and meeting budget. - Chun S. Tucker, Contracting Officer, Huntsville Center USACOE

(AKEA personnel were)….tasked with the transportation and disposal of approximately 10,494,000 lbs. of Tannin, at Point Pleasant, WV. The … team got off to a shaky start. The loading crew and transportation subcontractor were not very professional. Instead of stumbling through the project, they stopped operations and re-grouped. The solution was to complete the project with the team that had done such a good job at the New Haven Depot. This team lived up to the reputation they developed in Indiana. Please pass on my congratulations and heart-felt thanks for the outstanding job your team did. Their performance in all of their tasks was very professional. The outstanding professionalism of Mr. Kwan and the professionalism of his loading crew should be noted. Additionally, the tannin was still disposed of well ahead of schedule. I would highly recommend your team for future DNSC projects. - John Eller, Project COR

Your personnel (Anthony J. Kwan and Mike Tootle) have conducted environmental compliance assessments at thirteen military installations. As project manager for Savannah District, I have found their personnel to be not only highly competent professionally, but enthusiastic, innovative and customer-orientated. They communicate well with military personnel, and have demonstrated a great deal of flexibility in coping with changing requirements and conditions arising during the assessments. - Alfred Clowser, Project Manager, Savannah District, USACE

I wish to commend you for the excellent environmental services you have rendered in the preparation of the environmental compliance studies for installations and customers in the Savannah District. Please express my appreciation to Mr. Anthony J. Kwan and all members of your firm who contributed to the preparation of the environmental compliance studies and reports. We are very much aware of the effort required to produce such high quality work in a timely manner. - Joseph H. Hodges, P.E., Chief, Engineering Division
